We know it can be an ongoing challenge to find interesting, current, and valuable event topics. Microsoft Community Connections is here to help with technology event content that's ready to go. The events we offer are geared to help small businesses get the most from their Microsoft software and solutions and make informed technology decisions.

Eligible organizations may include a Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Diversity Organization or other business membership organizations that have regularly scheduled meetings. Organizations must be located in the United States, including District of Columbia.

You may have a Microsoft Technology Partner that is a member in your organization. If you don’t and you need a list of Partners in your area, please contact us at 1-888-834-8564 or email mcc@microsoft.com. You can also go to: www.pinpoint.com and enter your zip code or filter by Computer/PC Service and Support and Small Business Specialist.

Unfortunately, it's impossible for Microsoft to join every organization they engage with. We do encourage our local Microsoft Partners to talk with you about your membership options. In some cases they may already be members of your organization. Having a local Microsoft Partner connection in your community also benefits your members when they need an expert to contact directly.

Yes. To make the feedback process easy, we include a packet of 25 printed evaluation forms in each event kit that you can hand out to attendees right after the event. Simply gather up the completed surveys and mail them back to Microsoft in the provided return envelope. Also included is an additional evaluation form (green) for an organization representative to complete. This can be mailed in the same envelope. We also have an online survey option that’s available. A few days before your target event date, you will receive an email with a link to a survey that you can forward to attendees after the event. A few days after your target event date, you will receive an email with a link to a survey for you to fill out.

For Microsoft Partners

To make it easy for you to provide feedback on your event, you can either complete the paper survey that comes in your kit or complete an online survey that should take only a few minutes.

On your event date you will receive two online surveys via email:

1) Event host survey

2) Event attendee survey

Please complete the host survey, and forward the other to the attendees after the event.

In addition to the featured topics that are highlighted on the Microsoft Community Connections site, an extensive list of marketing campaigns by product area, target market, solution area, and vertical industry are available through Microsoft Ready-to-Go Marketing. Each campaign offers a toolkit of resources to support your marketing & sales efforts. Select “I Have My Own Topic” when registering your event.

Local business organizations—such as the Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Centers, Association of Women’s Business Centers, and Trade and Industry Associations—are a trusted resource and provide value and services to promote growth to their small business members. They are a huge resource to extend your reach to new business customers in your community.

If you are already a member of a business organization, share how they can help their members make more informed technology decisions by hosting a Microsoft technology event with you. The business organization can host the event and have you present the content. If you are not a member of an organization, consider joining one or contact one in your area to see if they have interest in hosting an event with you. You can also host the event and ask the business organization to promote your event to their business members through their website, newsletter, or email.

You can register an event without including the name of a business organization; however, you will not receive the Event Kit until one has been identified. Once you have identified a business organization, please call 1-888-834-8564 between 6:00AM – 4:30PM (Pacific Time) or email us at mcc@microsoft.com with your updated information. If you need help identifying an organization, please contact us.
